In an effort to increase the subscriber base, Spotify announces a new subscription model – Premium Duo for two individuals. This plan is supposed to benefit users, who share the same space under one roof and willing to share their music with each other.
By subscribing to Premium Duo plan at a discounted price of $14.99 per month, users can save up to $3 on the regular family plan and almost $8 over two individual premium subscriptions.
Existing premium users can invite their partners through WhatsApp or email, and upgrade to the Spotify premium Duo plan without much hassle.
