According to Thinkbox, there has been a drop of 7% among young adults’ (16-24) TV viewership times in 2015. It was found out that still TV is the most popular form of video. The average viewing times for this age group was found out to be 2 hours 24 minutes a day. From the total video viewing average time of 3 hours 25 minutes a day, 57.5% was TV for this group. Video on demand and SVOD content consumption in this group for twice the average.

“Younger people are spending more time watching TV and other forms of video online thanks to screens like tablets and smartphones; 38% of 16-24s’ video viewing is on devices compared with 20% for all individuals,” said Thinkbox.
