Fastly is a high-performance content delivery network designed for low-latency, real-time content delivery. By leveraging a globally distributed edge network, Fastly helps streaming platforms deliver video faster and more reliably, even during traffic spikes or live events.
Muvi allows you to bring your own CDN and use Fastly as a delivery layer for live and on-demand content. The integration is handled by Muvi’s DevOps team and includes automatic fallback delivery through Muvi’s default CDN (AWS CloudFront) to ensure uninterrupted streaming.
How to Use This Integration
- Log in to your Muvi CMS → Support → Create a Ticket.
- Choose Customized Request and mention “Fastly CDN Integration” in the ticket title.
- Include your Fastly service ID, endpoint, and CNAME details in the ticket description.
- The Muvi DevOps team will validate compatibility, perform CDN mapping, and complete the setup.
- Once integrated, your content will be delivered via Fastly’s global edge network, with fallback support through AWS CloudFront.
