M-Pesa
M-Pesa is a widely used mobile money service operated by Safaricom that enables users to make secure digital payments using their mobile numbers. It is commonly used for pay-per-view and one-time transactions, helping businesses accept payments from users without requiring cards or traditional banking access.
Once enabled, M-Pesa allows Muvi to process secure pay-per-view payments through mobile money. Users complete transactions by approving payment requests on their mobile devices via USSD.
How to Use This Integration
- Log in to your Muvi CMS → Monetization → Payment Gateway.
- Select M-Pesa from the list of available gateways.
- Enter your Consumer Key, Consumer Secret, Pass Key, and Business Short Code provided by Safaricom.
- Click Save to complete the integration.
- Once activated, users can make Pay-Per-View payments by entering their M-Pesa mobile number and approving the transaction via USSD.
