PayPal is a widely used online payment solution that functions as both a merchant account and a payment gateway. It supports two integration models—PayPal Pro and PayPal Express—allowing businesses to accept card payments and PayPal wallet transactions securely, either directly on their website or via PayPal’s hosted checkout.
Muvi supports both PayPal Pro and PayPal Express, giving you flexibility in how payments are processed. PayPal Pro enables on-site card and PayPal payments, while PayPal Express redirects users to PayPal’s secure checkout flow.
How to Use This Integration
- For PayPal Pro:
- Log in to your Muvi CMS → Monetization → Payment Gateway.
- Select PayPal and enter your API Username, Password, and Signature provided by PayPal.
- Click Integrate Payment Gateway and complete a test transaction.
- Once verified, PayPal Pro will support card payments and PayPal accounts directly on your website.
- For PayPal Express:
- Log in to your Muvi CMS → Support → Create a Ticket.
- Select Customized Request and mention “PayPal Express Integration” in the ticket title.
- Provide your PayPal API credentials (Username, Password, Signature) in the ticket description.
- The Muvi team will configure PayPal Express — users will be redirected to PayPal’s secure checkout page to complete payments.
