Hulu has signed a new multi year deal to be the exclusive streaming destination of dozens of movies from the Walt Disney library. Under this deal, a chunk of old Disney films will now be found only on Hulu, including animated films Mulan, Hercules, Pocahontas and The Nightmare Before Christmas along with movies like Sister Act (and several others to join later).
The move comes as Hulu gears up to release a live TV service in 2017. Moves like this will certainly provide services like Hulu a great stand in the crowded OTT services market.
