Twitter will soon allow posting live-video streaming for media organisations

According to a latest media report about Twitter, the social media giant will allow media firms to post live streaming videos directly into the service. Twitter will do so by opening up its application programming interface (API) for the media companies.

Media companies have been posting live videos on Twitter but it required partnerships and extensive planning but with this API, companies will directly be able to plug in their live streaming videos in the Twitter app. The platform also witnessed over two million viewers for Thursday Night Football boxing match live streamed last year for the first time in partnership with Showtime.
