VOD Service Starz Play Arabia Expands to North Africa

The subscription video streaming service Starz Play Arabia has teamed up with Maroc Telecom and Vodafone Egypt to reach mobile subscribers in North Africa. Starz Play features several Hollywood titles in movies, documentaries, children’s entertainment, TV series from the US and Arabic content in full HD and 4K for the Vodafone Egypt customers.

The service offers various Hollywood and Arabic titles in English, French and Arabic to the Maroc Telecom customers. The company sees both Egypt and Morocco as highly potential markets given their large mobile user base and attractive mobile data rates and 4G services. The service is being offered at a subscription of US$4.99 per month with a month’s free trial.
