Eros International Plc, who pioneer the Indian film industry in India, has announced that Eros Now, its (Over-the-Top) OTT platform will enter the South African market through a strategic partnership with the telecommunications provider, Telecel Global Pty.

Eros Now will be available to Telecel customers as a bundled service with their prepaid and postpaid data plans, IPTV and set-top box. The South African subscribers will now have access to Eros Now´s huge library of movies, music, TV shows, and originals. 

According to a Nielsen report, mobile video consumption is very prominent in the region; and that’s a tick mark for Eros Now to partner Telecel global who have been operating extensively in the region for over a decade now.
