American over-the-top internet television service, FuboTV is close to 250,000 subscribers, more than double from a year. FuboTV, which was launched in 2015 as a soccer-focused service currently streams live-TV channels with subscriptions starting at $45 a month.
David Gandler, Co-founder and CEO, FuboTV quoted, “FuboTV is doing quite well relative to our brand penetration — in other words, when you compare how many people have heard of Sling or DirecTV, versus how many people have heard of fuboTV, the startup’s numbers are “just remarkable.”
