According to a recent study by iGR, the amount of mobile video passing through a mobile network is set to surge in North America as consumers watch more streaming videos and adopt over the top services. The traffic is inclusive of TV services as well as social media videos.
The study also stated that the increasing demand for mobile video is the major drive for mobile operators to tie up with content providers in order to find a new way of revenue streams and provide their consumers a better video viewing experience.
