According to reports, TVN’s Player has acquired the top position in Poland both in terms of user numbers and average time spent on the platform. It is also the most used app in Poland.

The report also highlighted that in the month of March, Player had 4 million real users across its three platforms – the player.pl website, vod.pl/player-promocja and the mobile app. The player.pl website had 3.5 million regular visitors who spent on average over 5 hours and 23 minutes on the portal.Also, plyer.pl is cited as the most frequently chosen legal platform according to Millennials with almost 1.6 million real users aged 15-34 spend an average of over 6 and a half hours on the website.

Maciej Maciejowski, director of content distribution and business development division/member of the management board of TVN, said: “Our goal is to give users the freedom of accessing the best TV content anywhere, anytime and on any screen. The OTT market is rapidly growing, therefore we are constantly investing in player’s offering and the technological solutions powering the service. The results show that these efforts are strongly appreciated by our fans”.
