ShowMax app is to be available on Xbox One platform which will let subscribers stream TV and movies. This is a huge step towards growth of its video subscription business.

It aims to compete against the streaming giant Netflix since it will offer exclusive content based on its licensing agreements with MultiChoice that Netflix does not offer to local Netflix subscribers.
