Australia’s media landscape is swiftly migrating to online platforms. Recent research shows the migrational shift to digital media is driven due to vast sports & eSports audiences across the country.

Though Live TV remains the primary video channel in Australia, still more than half of audience access sports contents online. A survey charted a rapid growth of 6-8% every month, as compared to the last year’s stats.

As the social live streams offer a high level of immersion (not available on TV), users prefer watching sports content online for longer. This development in online streaming has forced both content creators and publishers to find sustainable engagements across multiple digital channels on a variety of devices.
