Starz is all set to launch subscription video streaming channels in the United Kingdom and Germany via Amazon Prime Video. This will be the first time that Starz programming is going to be available in the above two countries.
Starz was acquired two years back by Lionsgate for $4.4 billion. Currently, Starz Play Arabia, the first international OTT platform of Starz is gaining momentum in the MENA region by virtue of some acclaimed original content.
Chris Albrecht, President of Starz, quoted, “These new channels allow us to extend the reach of our storytelling and bring the growing portfolio of Starz original series as well our extensive library of hit TV series and movies to a new audience.”
