Following Vodafone, Bharti Airtel is planning to offer free Amazon Prime Video to its postpaid customers in India. The telecom giant is including this service as a part of its infinity plans. According to sources, Airtel will offer a one-year free subscription to Amazon Prime Video to its postpaid users who have subscribed to plans above Rs. 499. The service can be renewed for Rs 999 after one year of free subscription.
In another development, Airtel has struck a content deal with South Indian content provider Fastfilmz which both Airtel postpaid and prepaid customers can avail. Airtel seems to be on an online content providing streak as this development is followed by its April-partnership with Amazon under which customers purchasing Amazon Fire TV got free 100 GB high-speed data via Airtel Broadband/Airtel 4G Home WiFi.
