Wired Magazine is prepping up to introduce its first online streaming TV channel. Condé Nast’s Wired magazine will roll out more programming made specifically for the streaming channel. With the launch of an online TV channel, Wired Magazine aims to reach people spending more time on watching content from streaming video services such as Hulu, Amazon Prime and Netflix.
Kimberly Kelleher, Condé Nast’s brand executive for Pitchfork, Wired Media Group, Golf Digest and GQ, was quoted, “Condé Nast views online streaming is an opportunity to reach more audience. The publishing company is mindful of the people’s increasing usage of connected TV devices. In addition, the company understands that consumers nowadays prefer the on-demand TV experience. So in response, it introduced streaming video channels.”
