Snapchat was originally thought of as a social network mostly geared toward teenagers, but nowadays millennials are engaging more with the service. In fact businesses are also quickly gaining notice of this fast growing social media site and the benefits it provides.
According to a recent survey of Snapchat by Snaplytics, including 500 brands with 24,180 Snapchat stories and a total of 217,000 Snaps, the report finds out that brands are learning to reach their target audience ‘at eye level’. 61 % of Snapchat content is video today, which is a 5 % increase from the first quarter of 2016. There are on an average 11 snaps per update.
