Belgian telecoms operator Belgacom started to roll out Netflix on its Proximus TV offering, as part of a gradual deployment that will take place over the next few months. Belgacom said that the move will give customers a “superior television experience which combines all technologies in an ideal way.” Viewers will also be able to resume playback of a movie or series on Netflix TV via Proximus TV from where they left off on a computer, smartphone or tablet. Netflix launched in Belgium in September as part of the SVOD firm’s latest round of European expansions. In the same week, it also rolled out to Luxembourg, France, Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
