Sales of Google’s Chromecast dongles have crossed Apple’s. The market share of the Google product is 35% while Apple’s share has fallen from 28% in 2014 to 20% in 2015. Roku and Amazon, the other popular streaming devices are at a joint 3rd place having 15% of the OTT market share. In total, around 42 million such devices were sold in the last year.
