Amazon Video has been growing and popularizing ever since it launched into the video streaming space, and with this international expansion, the service is all set to leapfrog the biggest OTT platform Netflix. There is a big buzz around the news that Amazon Prime Video will expand from 5 to almost 200 countries across the globe.
In doing so, Amazon Prime Video will outpass Netflix in terms of global reach, which expanded to 190 countries early this year. The expansion news came from a tweet from Jeremy Clarkson, the host of Amazon’s new show The Grand Tour, which said – it’s going to be available in 200 countries.
