BBC’s First TV Everywhere SVOD launches in Singapore

BBC launches its subscription video streaming platform BBC Player, which is also being called BBC’s first TV Everywhere product on a Singapore pay-TV platform StarHub. StarHub subscribers, who subscribe to UK broadcasters channels, will now be able to catch up BBC programs through a web or mobile app.

BBC Player will feature curated on-demand content from six BBC global channels: BBC First, BBC Earth, BBC Lifestyle, BBC World News and CBeebies, as well as BBC Brit, which is launching in Asia on BBC Player. The SVOD service will feature the critically acclaimed Amazon/BBCW drama: The Collection, as well as fourth series of the cult drama: Sherlock. BBC Player will also feature the latest Top Gear series, Go Jetters, Louis Theroux: A Different Brain and Planet Earth II, following its UK premiere later this year.
