Virtual Reality is definitely taking up swiftly. NExtVR, a video streaming platform broadcaster of live events as well as VR headsets, is currently in a phase to acquire funding. The startup has successfully raised $80 million and is now looking over Asian markets to reach.
The Shanghai investment group, China Media Capital (CMC) has also acquired undisclosed stake in NextVR recently. NextVR is already in contract with Live Nation to broadcast their live musical performances in VR and with Fox Sports to offer live VR coverage to their sporting events.
