Telefónica’s Movistar has launched a subscription video on demand platform for kids in Colombia to watch on a weekly basis this Christmas season. The platform is available to be accessed only through an Android mobile app.
Movistar’s prepaid and postpaid customers will get a link through SMS to access kids cartoons and animation content, play games, access other interactive content and read or listen to stories for $2 per week. The move is a part of Telefónica’s digital-focused strategy all over Latin America.
