Noting the aggressive territory expansion peak by the leader in VOD service, it is clear that Netflix is soon going to reach all over the globe and will soon have more subs outside USA. According to a recent research, number of Netflix’s international subscribers will grow by 38% in 2016, with over 2.8 million coming from the recently launched markets.
The research also stated that the total number of Netflix subscribers have grown by 30% between 2014 and 2015 and are expected to grow by 21% more in 2016. Given this growth, Netflix is definitely set to cross 100 million subs by 2018. According to the data gathered, Western Europe will be the leading region for Netflix outside USA.
