The German VOD service Netzkino has recently launched on streaming box Apple TV platform. The service is ad- supported and is available to be consumed free for viewers, under Entertainment and Top-Apps (free) section on the Apple TV store. The service showcases up to 3 commercials ahead of a movie to finance its free service.
The service showcases a library of more than 2,500 full length movies and a lot of them also available in HD quality. Netzkino already has good presence on iOS, Android and Windows Mobile apps, Amazon Kindle, Fire TV-Stick, Fire TV-Box, Entertain TV and Chromecast. The service is also available to be accessed through its website and a YouTube channel.
