Carlos Barba, the co-founder of US Hispanic networks Univision and Telemundo has launched a new OTT video streaming service for the Spanish speaking audience in the US and Puerto Rico. Named as Véonet, the service is based from Miami and claims to be the fully Spanish-language SVOD service.

The service features various Spanish language TV channels including some on sports, news, documentaries and movies. “This roll-out is just the beginning as the Véonet team is uploading hundreds of additional hours in the days to come,” said the company’s president Efren Carranza.
