Google to merge various music streaming services into one

Google to merge music streaming services

Google will merge YouTube Red, YouTube Music and Google Play into one new music streaming service.
Google Play Music and YouTube Red are subscription based streaming service. With YouTube Red, users can save music videos for offline viewing. It also lets them remove ads from videos.

Additionally, users also get exclusive access to original shows.

Google Play music offers unlimited music/audio streaming on your phone. A Google Play Music subscription lets you access YouTube Red as well and vice versa.

It’s not clear when these services will be combined into one. This merger aims to make life easier for Google music listeners.
