Beam to be known as Mixer

Microsoft’s live streaming service formerly known as Beam will now be known as Mixer. Mixer is like a Twitch and YouTube Gaming’s competitor. Known for its low-latency videos, the new name Mixer is part of the larger, site-wide rebranding. The name Mixer was chosen as it better represented the service and instantly connects with the audience by conveying how it brings people together.
