OTT TV and video revenues in 18 East European countries are set to reach $1,976 million in 2021.
This, according to a new report from Digital TV Research, will be up from only $26 million in 2010 and $454 million in 2015.
The report, entitled Eastern OTT TV & Video Forecasts, says that Russia accounted for half the region’s OTT revenues in 2015 and will remain at around this level for the next five years.
From the $1,522 million additional revenues between 2015 and 2021, it will provide $724 million, with Poland bringing in a further $220 million.
