Pen India prepping for own OTT Platform

According to reports, Pen India is planning to come up with an OTT platform to expand its reach across TV and digital verticals. The proposed SVOD platform may get launched in the coming six months and will be named Plan My Movie (PMM). It will be a 100% subsidiary of Pen India.

Pen India’s video streaming platform will feature a wide range of Hindi movies, regional movies and global content dubbed in various languages. PMM will be available via iOS, Android, and web platforms. However, downloads will be restricted to mobile application. Users can download content for offline viewing as well.  

Akshay Gada, Non-Executive Director, Pen India quoted, “We are planning to SVoD platform Play My Movie. We have built a library of 1,000 films which will be available on the platform. Few films will be free to watch whereas others will be available via subscription and pay-per-view basis at very affordable rates, making the platform easily accessible to the mass market.”
