According to reports, more people are adopting to subscription on demand services in 2018 as compared to last year. The global average of SVOD services adoption is two per household. As per the reports, the monthly domestic household OTT spending had reached $35 through the first quarter of the year, as compared to $15.60 spent in the previous-year period.
The report further states that the rise of online streaming platforms such as Amazon prime and Netflix has led the global SVOD growth and monthly domestic household OTT spending in the UK had reached $18.70 as compared to $10.40 last year.
