T-Mobile Netherlands will soon shut down it’s OTT TV service Knippr which has been struggling to attract subscribers. The standalone OTT service which was designed T-Mobile’s “mobile-first” strategy failed to cater to the young audience’s demand something which it was primarily intended to. Quoting that Knippr was too early to be projected in the mass market, T-Mobile will continue its content offering on an “a la carte” basis and in bundles. Tisha van Lammeren, director of consumer marketing, quoted, the technical knowledge accumulated through Knippr will be used to strengthen its other services.
