According to a MediaCom study, around 70% of teens 13 and over subscribe to YouTube.
From an ad-targeting perspective, this is pretty interesting since 64% of teens surveyed spoke about the product that a YouTuber has endorsed and 54% bought the product.
Another interesting finding from the study was that Instagram was found to be the preferred platform for UK teenagers to share video content as 40% used the social media platform to do so.
