Almost three-quarters of consumers think that there is “room for improvement” among on-demand and live streaming services, according to a study by VoD service technology provider Brightcove.

The New View survey of 4,000 European consumers discovered that around one-third wanted more variety of content, a similar number expected more relevance and almost one-quarter believed content should be easier to discover. The study, which was released at IBC in Amsterdam and conducted by research firm Vanson Bourne, also found that online video content is being consumed 24/7, despite evenings continuing to dominate.
