Australians are keen for television and movies streaming over their internet connections with more than 5 million households expected to be subscribed to a service by 2019, which is half of its population.
And some would even be willing to accept advertising, according to research firm Telsyte.
About 4.1 million households could be paying a subscription of a video on-demand (SVOD) service within three years, according to principle analyst at Telsyte, Foad Fadaghi.
