Amazon Music appears to be testing Chromecast support on its streaming service. An option to play Amazon Music on Chromecast has been notified on select handsets. The feature allows playback on both Chromecast and Chromecast-enabled devices such as the Nvidia Shield TV and the Google Home connected speaker.
It’s probable that Amazon is rolling out the feature gradually. Amazon’s documentation and press website does not mention Chromecast support. With Amazon offering this feature Chromecast support could help seal the deal for Android users.
