According to a source on a popular social forum, Amazon will release the Prime Video app for Apple TV on October 26, 2017.
In June 2017, Apple chief executive officer Tim Cook had announced that Amazon was coming to the TV app on Apple TV “later this year” with Amazon Prime Video. Prior to the announcement, Prime Video was exclusively available on select TV models and via Amazon’s own Fire TV Stick.
According to estimates from analytics firms, Amazon Prime Video has a larger content catalog than Netflix. Up until now one of the major complaints of customers was the unavailability of Prime Video on Apple TV, which seems to change later this month.
