Disney will soon start its own video streaming service when its current deal with Netflix ends.
The Disney-branded streaming service will be launched in 2019 when Disney’s distribution agreement with Netflix ends. It plans to create original movies, TV shows and short-form content to be featured only for it’s inhouse streaming service.

The Walt Disney Company is also looking to create a multisport streaming service for ESPN by early next year. The sports streaming service will have about 10,000 live regional, national and international games and events each year which will include MLB, NHL, MLS and other leagues. Individual sports packages will also be offered. The current ESPN app will be broadcast this streaming service content.
