Amazon Prime to Stream Live Sports

Amazon Prime, so far, has been more of a video streaming platform like Netflix than Sling TV. However, things seem to be changing with the service provider. A recent report suggests that Amazon is interested in acquiring video rights of Sports such as tennis and rugby, which will allow them to provide live streams of the matches.

Bloomberg reports Amazon trying to acquire rights to Rugby and French Open tennis championship in order to gain viewers for its Prime video streaming platform. Amazon is also interested in acquiring rights to Sports that have global appeal such as motor racing, golf, soccer and tennis.
