Comcast’s Xfinity TV app has launched in beta format on Roku TV as a video streaming service offering Roku users both live as well as on-demand streaming programming. The OTT service offers local broadcast stations, public and government channels, and also lets viewers watch their cloud DVR recordings.
Comcast video streaming app will launch officially later this year; for now, the beta is available on Roku Express, Roku Express+, Roku Premiere, Roku Premiere+, Roku Streaming Stick (model 3600), Roku Ultra, Roku 4 (model 4400), Roku 3 (model 4230 and 4200) and Roku 2 (model 4210).
