Google is planning to launch its voice controlled Google assistance service to the Android TV devices as part of their new update to make streaming easy for smart TV users. Google announced in the CES show that the Assistance service will be available on supported TVs and set-top boxes powered by Android TV.

Once available, the new Nvidia Shield Android TV box and gaming device will be the first TV devices to offer hands free Google Assistant experiences. In coming months, this service will also be available on all Android TVs in the US running Android version 6.0 or Android 7.0 – such as the AirTV Player, Sony Bravia, Sharp Aquos, Xiaomi Mi Box.
