LG Electronics USA launches a new video on demand platform service named Channel Plus, for 2016 Smart TVs with an extensive roaster of premium on-demand and live streaming internet content. The service started rolling out from this month in USA featuring webOS 3.0 Smart TV platform, led by LG OLED and LG SUPER Ultra HD TVs.

The service currently offers 50 quality content choices free for LG smart TV viewers. The Channel Plus content will be available as similarly to traditional TV content, accessible using LG’s Magic Remote. “By delivering premium Internet content seamlessly with broadcast channels together in the same channel line-up, LG aims to make it easier than ever for consumers to find and enjoy the content they want to watch in one centralized place – whether it’s streaming or broadcast.” – said David VanderWaal, vice-president of marketing, LG Electronics USA.
