Twitter will share Ad Revenues with Video Creators

In order to boost the usage of the platform, twitter is planning to share a part of its Ad revenues with the video content creators. Twitter also has a keen eye on the competition and plans to share up to 70% of revenues, competing with Facebook and YouTube. Twitter has jumped into the Video Streaming space for quite some time now, but seems is struggling hard to compete with rivals – YouTube and Facebook, given their strong hold.

Twitter is already sharing 70% revenues with the users of its Amplify platform. The move is intended towards attracting YouTube advertisers, as YouTube is only proving 55% of the revenues to advertisers. The program is only available to USA for now and will scale up slowly.
