Having launched the beta version in June 2016 for only selected creators, YouTube is now allowing live video streaming on mobile for all creators with more than 10,000 followers and slowly for all users. Google’s online video division has also enabled Super Chat, a live stream monetization feature.

With the help of Super Chat, viewers will be able to purchase highlighted messages within the chat feed and pin them for up to five hours onto the top of chat window. Super Chat is initially available for creators in some 20 countries and for viewers in some 40 countries.
