Leading pay TV operator Discovery Golf and PGA Tour have introduced a live and on-demand video streaming platform which will allow fans to get access to 150 tournaments annually. The new video streaming platform, GOLFTV will be launched on Jan 1 outside the US territory. GOLFTV is likely to carry more than 2,000 hours of live action every year, including tournaments such as Presidents Cup, Players Championship, and the FedEx Cup playoffs.
Alex Kaplan, President and General Manager, Discovery Golf, quoted, “Our long-term goal is to create a must-have experience that truly enhances the way global fans watch, play and engage with the game every day.”
