Periscope (owned by twitter) has teamed up with GoPro to provide video streaming on the go. Available only on iOS, this promises users to broadcast their live GoPro video content in real time. For this, the GoPro Wifi model needs to be paired with an iPhone via the iOS app. The phone can be kept in the user’s pocket while the video is taken by the strapped on GoPro camera.
An Android version is expected to come up in the near future.
