Hulu adds new features

Hulu is including some new features shortly after it launched a new experience alongside the beta launch of a live TV streaming service that includes a cloud DVR component. Related: Hulu Launches Live TV Beta

New features and improvements will be introduced on a semi-regular basis. According to VP of product Richard Irving, some of the new Hulu updates include viewing progress that lets subscribers know if they are all caught up or if there’s a new episode available to view, a badging feature that lets customers know about new and upcoming TV shows, disable autoplay that lets users disable autoplay immediately after an episode is complete, cast button provided in conjunction with Google’s chromecast technology.
