Streaming giant Hulu has surpassed 1 million subscribers for its Live TV service. The live streaming service was launched in May 2017 and it offers more than 60 live and cable channels. Packaged at $40 for month, Hulu with Live TV had reached 800,000 subscribers in May. Hulu has more than 20 million overall subscribers including customers who pay for on-demand movies and TV.
Kelly Campbell, Chief Marketing Officer, Hulu quoted, “Hulu is growing faster than ever, so we’re evolving our brand to embrace the bold, rebel spirit and deep love for TV that has fueled our success. This has been a pretty big year for Hulu. We have won some historic awards and, importantly, grown our business tremendously. People think of us as TV. That’s great, but we need people to take another look so they realize all we have to offer now.”
