Netflix will now charge $11 per month instead of $10 for its most popular plan, i.e. Netflix Standard. The plan includes HD content and allows subscribers to simultaneously stream on two different internet-connected devices.
Netflix is making this raise for the first time this year and is going to affect most of its subscribers. The raise is effective from 18th Nov 2017, and subscribers will be officially notified a month earlier. This move is aimed at maximizing profits but it might slow down the subscriber growth rate of Netflix.
